Welcome to HairGuise - Your Guide To Non-Surgical Hair Replacement

At HairGuise, we understand that losing your hair can be devastating. Deciding how to treat hair loss can just be as equally confusing and overwhelming. How do we know? Because we’ve been there ourselves. We’ve lost our hair. We’ve used miracle shampoos. We’ve tried thickening fibres. We’ve done hair transplants. None of them deliver the long term, high quality yet affordable results like non-surgical hair replacement. But don’t just take our word for it. Hear from our founder, Sam, on how a hair system changed his hairline and his confidence in the space of just a few hours.

Sam's Story

“I started losing my hair in my mid-twenties and spent years in denial, pretending that it wasn’t happening and praying that no one would notice that my hairline was receding”.

“I tried all of the miracle hair loss shampoos and thickening fibres in an attempt to conceal my hair loss but it got to the point where I couldn’t hide it anymore so I started researching longer-term options to treat it.”

“The obvious choice was to go down the hair transplant route but there was no guarantee that I would get the results I wanted. And for that kind of money, I wanted guaranteed results and I didn’t want to wait a year to find out if it had worked”.

“After spending almost two years researching I decided against getting a hair transplant and made the bold decision to get a hair system fitted”.

“It wasn’t an easy decision but I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I couldn’t recommend it more! I got my hairline and my confidence back all in the space of just a few hours”.

Men’s hair systems are a semi-permanent, non-invasive cosmetic solution to treat hear loss. It consists of a base material that is custom-made to fit the contours of the scalp, with natural hair strands woven into the base which are designed to blend seamlessly with your existing hair. Today’s modern hair systems are designed to be natural-looking, lightweight, breathable and customisable, catering to different styles, textures, and colors, offering a personalised solution to treat their hair loss.

On average, the cost of a hair system can range from as little as £200 up to in excess of £1,000. The cost can vary depending on several factors such as the quality and size of the system, average duration and how you source the system.

If you want your hair system to last longer, you should take good care of it. The amount you spend on aftercare depends on the products you use and how often you give it some TLC.

The good news is, all of the above can be done on a budget.

The lifetime of a hair system can span anywhere from 12 weeks to 12 months depending on two main factors;

1) The quality of the hair system

2) How well you maintain your system at home

As a rule of thumb, better quality hair systems combined with an extensive maintenance routine tend to last longer than poor quality systems that don’t receive the proper level of aftercare.

Of course you can! You can still wash your just like anyone else, you just have to follow a few simple guidelines such as avoiding over-washing your hair system and using a light water pressure. These are just some examples of the guidelines we recommend to avoid damaging your hair system whilst showering.

This may be the question you get asked the most by others. Everyone wants to know how it stays on your head. And the answer is Bonding.

There are two common methods of bonding; tape or liquid adhesive. Both are completely safe & sensitive to your scalp. Some products offer a stronger and longer lasting hold than others, but everyone’s scalp is different, so we recommend that you trial both tape & liquid adhesives to see which method works best for you.
